A Memory Café is a free ‘drop in’ service for anyone who has concerns about their memory or the memory of a loved one. Carers and those they care for can find support and information.
At Memory Cafés both people with memory difficulties and their carers can spend a few hours socially, meeting others in similar situations, making new friends, sharing information about dementia and enjoying some new activities.
The cafe provides practical information and support, as well as the opportunity for people with dementia, their families and carers to ask questions and to listen to others experiences.
